Q&A
Do my lessons have an expiration date?
Taking lessons is a commitment.
In order to keep regularity in the learning process, lessons have an expiration date.
– “À la carte” lessons and 10-class packages are valid for 3 months (90 days).
– 20-class packages are valid for 6 months (180 days).
These validity periods begin on the billing date.
However, some exceptions may apply in cases of illness or force majeure. For further information, please consult our General Terms and Conditions.
Can I change the date and time of one of my lesson?
Yes, you can send me an e-mail up to 12 hours before the start of the lesson.
If you have a class at 5pm and you send me an e-mail at 2pm, it will be too late and the lesson cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
However, some exceptions may apply in cases of illness or force majeure. For further information, please consult our General Terms and Conditions.
Do I have to do 1 lesson a week only?
You don’t always have to do the same number of lessons per week.
You can do between 0 and 4 lessons maximum per week.
For example, you have 10 lessons, if you’re taking a week’s vacation one month (and you don’t want to take French lessons), over 4 weeks you can do it this way:
1st week : 3 lessons
2nd week : 3 lessons
3rd week : 0 lesson
4th week : 4 lessons
To recap, you just need to respect the lessons expiry date, not exceed 4 lessons per week and you must notify me 12 hours before a lesson if you need to reschedule.
Can I claim a refund?
You may cancel your order within 14 days of placing it, unless a first lesson has already been given within these 14 days.
After that, all lessons, subscriptions or packs are non-refundable.
What my students say
Victor has helped me enormously with my preparation for the DELF B2 french exam
Victor has helped me enormously with my preparation for the DELF B2 french exam. He has carefully guided me with patience, encouragement and rigour and I readily recommend him to anyone who wants to improve their french. Thanks, Victor, for helping me to pass the exam!
Fantastic first lesson
Fantastic first lesson. We practiced my pronunciation and looked at some good basic conversational phrases. It was great to get stuck in reading and speaking (very basic) French. He’s very patient and gives good feedback and is always happy to answer question. He also gives you space and time to go over things you don’t understand or fully grasp. Looking forward to more lessons!
Dynamic and positive learning environment to further your French!
Couldn’t recommend Victor enough if you’re looking for a dynamic, positive learning environment to further your French! Other folks have said it in their reviews, but it needs to be reiterated: he’s a kind teacher with a wealth of lesson materials, clear explanations, and loads of patience. It is always a joy to learn with him while noticeably improving my language skills. Merci, Victor!
